It’s been a long (and rather lonesome) winter, Chicago. Let us reassure you – there is a lot to fancy about spring. From sunny days, to shoving those parkas in storage for the year and to our personal favorite, rooftop rendezvous.

We have been busy getting the rooftop ready for you. We can hear the tinkling of ice behind the bar as our bartender experiments with some exotic new cocktails. The kitchen door swings repeatedly with delicious looking bites coming out of the kitchen. The sun is shining and the city below thrums happily; winter is over at last. The dog-eared copy of The Waste Land that we have been reading out here on breaks today says that “April is the cruelest month,” but T.S. Eliot probably didn’t have access to craft cocktails and food this tasty. We are also reasonably sure he didn’t have a Spotify account.

So we are going to grab a plate and a drink and celebrate spring with a little playlist we put together especially for you. April, we think you are rather nice.
