Music, Parties, and Massive Amounts of Wrist
Here is what we saw during Fest Season.
Chicago has become a hub for some of the biggest music festivals in the world with the arrival of Pitchfork and Lollapalooza. These fests are so big, that they’ve been bestowed their own season, culture, and category of roundups, or as we like to call it – Fest Season.
Past years have seen the likes of Radiohead, Arcade Fire, The Smashing Pumpkins and Outkast. But the 2015 crop wasn’t too shabby, either. At Pitchfork we saw Chicago favorites such as Vic Mensa, Parquet Courts and Chance The Rapper. At Lollapalooza, the craziness ensued with headliners Paul McCartney, Metallica and Florence + The Machine, and our own personal crush, Sam Smith.
What truly made us fall in love with the festivals this year were all of the faces we saw at the after parties. Here is what happened.
Vic Mensa got #UMad Upstairs during Pitchfork After Parties.
