A Lesson in libation from the Virgin Hotels Spirit Guide
We once paid $15 for a bottle of water at hotel. Yep. 15 real-life-American bucks. And despite what the in-room menu might have told us, it totally wasn’t worth it.
These crazy fees are one of the things we kept in mind when stocking our stellar little red Smeg™ minibars in all our chambers. Specifically: dropping them for more down-to-earth, street-level priced munchies.
So to celebrate, we propose a toast.
Below is the first in our three-part series of Minibar Mixology lessons—fun, creative cocktail recipes you can make right in your own room using the many amazing (and low-priced!) goodies we keep stocked in every chamber. From old favorites to new concoctions, each recipe was crafted by Jon, our Head Bartender and your new favorite Spirit Guide.
Each drink costs between $8.50 – $14.50. So grab a glass, settle in, and enjoy. Cheers!
