It’s a quick trip into the heart of Edinburgh Old Town. Just tell your Uber or taxi driver you’re heading to Virgin Hotels Edinburgh located at 1 India Buildings, Victoria Street.
Our main entrance on Victoria Street can be accessed from George IV Bridge. We recommend entering the postcode for the National Museum of Scotland (EH1 1EW) to ensure you are directed to the correct side of Victoria Street.
Leaving the airport follow directions for A8 Edinburgh City Centre.
Join A8 and follow the road for approx 2 miles, take the second exit at the roundabout on to St Johns Road.
Pass by Edinburgh Zoo on your left and Murrayfield on your right.
Continue for approx 3 miles and take a right at Torphichen Street.
Follow the road to the end and follow round to the right, taking the first left onto Morrison Street.
Carry along Morrison Street until you reach the traffic lights on Lothian Road.
Take a right turn, carry along the street and take second left onto Lauriston Place.
Continue for 0.5 miles and then take a left turn onto Forrest Road which merges with George IV Bridge.
Carry along the road and you will find Victoria Street on your left just opposite the National Library of Scotland.
Turn left on to Victoria Street and you will find the hotel on your left hand side at 1 India Buildings.
Edinburgh Trams stop right outside the airport, hop off at Princes Street and it’s a short walk up a big hill to the hotel.
The Airlink 100 bus connects the airport to St Andrew Square, from there it’s a 12 minute walk to the hotel.
