GENERAL
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00pm and checkout is at 12:00pm.
Do I need a photo ID at check-in?
A passport is required from all non-UK Resident checking into the hotel. A valid government issued photo ID is required at the time of check-in for UK Residents.
Are there any entry requirements for the UK?
Yes, travel requirements to the UK are changing starting April 2, 2025 Visitors from the US, Europe, Australia, and Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to enter the UK. This applies to visits after 2 April 2025. An ETA costs £10 per person, and the fee applies to all travellers, including children and babies. Can I request a late check-out?
Late check-out is available upon request, subject to availability, and incurs an additional hourly fee. To check availability and pricing, please contact us at [email protected].
Can I request early check-in?
Our usual check-in time begins at 3 PM. If you’re an eager beaver, you can request early check-in, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance to let us know your expected arrival time so we can notify our team. For availability and pricing, please email [email protected].
Do you have a business centre?
There is no business centre on site but please do speak with our Junction Team (Reception Team) and we will do our best to assist with any requests.
Do I have to pay for wifi?
Highspeed WiFi is complimentary throughout the hotel.
Do you have air conditioning?
There is air conditioning throughout the hotel and in all guest bedrooms.
Can I smoke in my room?
As part of local regulations we do not allow smoking internally and this applies to guest bedrooms too.
Do you have a fitness centre? What are the opening hours?
We do have a fitness centre on-site which is open 24 hours for residents of the hotel and members of Blue Marlin Ibiza. You'll find it on level -3.
Do you have a pool?
Yes, our rooftop pool is open year-round and heated during the winter months. It is managed by Blue Marlin Ibiza. You'll find it on level 7.
7:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Open to adults and children aged 18 and under.
12:00 PM to 9:30 PM: Exclusively for adults over the age of 18.
Is there a fridge in the rooms?
Yes, all rooms come with a fully stocked red SMEG fridge, priced at street value.

What is the minimum age requirement to check-in?
18 years old.
What age do kids stay for free?
Children two and under.
Do you have twin rooms?
Yes, our Grand Chamber Two Queen rooms feature two queen-sized beds.
Do you have accessible rooms?
Yes, we offer accessible options including the Chamber King Accessible, Grand Chamber King Accessible, and Grand Chamber Junior Suite Accessible.
Do you have connecting rooms?
Yes, some of our rooms can be grouped together. Please contact [email protected] to check availability.
What types of rooms are suitable for families?
We offer a range of family-friendly rooms, designed to provide flexibility and comfort. From connecting rooms to spacious suites, many of our accommodations can be customised to suit your needs, with the option of adding an extra bed* where available. Our family-friendly options include:
- Grand Chamber Junior Suite*: A larger suite offering additional space and comfort.

Can I add a roll away bed/crib/ dog bed? Is there a charge?
Yes, you can add a baby cot or a dog bed to any chamber or suite free of charge. In some suites, it's also possible to add a rollaway bed for an additional charge of £50 per night. Please note that the rollaway bed is suitable for guests aged 17 and under. For assistance or to make a reservation, please contact us at [email protected].
Can I upgrade my room?
Yes, depending on availability. Please contact [email protected] with your confirmation number and we can send you the available options. Upgrades are subject to additional fees which is advised at time of your request.

Can I arrange chocolates / prosecco to my room?
Yes, contact [email protected] before your stay or the Junction Team (Reception Team) during your visit to arrange chocolates or prosecco for your room at an additional charge.
Does my booking include breakfast?
Breakfast inclusion depends on your chosen rate. Breakfast is available for an additional charge of £25 per person per day if it's not already included in your rate or a la carte menu. To confirm whether your booking has breakfast, email [email protected] with your confirmation number.
Do you have feather free bedding for allergies?
All rooms feature feather bedding for your comfort. Hypoallergenic pillows and bedding are available upon request. For more information, contact [email protected] with your confirmation number.
Which type of rooms have a bathtub?
Bathtubs are exclusively available in Sir Richard's Flat and the Deluxe Chamber One-Bedroom Suite. All our room types feature walk-in rainfall showers and steam rooms with the exception of accessible rooms.
Can I amend my booking that I have booked on a third-party website?
If your reservation was made through a third-party website, any amendments will need to be made directly with that third party.

Do you have a concierge?

Is there somewhere I can store my bags prior to check in and after checkout?
Yes, the Junction Team (Reception Team) will happily store your luggage before check-in and after check-out, allowing you to continue exploring London with ease.
TRANSPORT, VALET & PARKING
How can I get to the hotel from the airport?
To get to Virgin Hotels London Shoreditch (EC2A 3PT) from each of London’s major airports:
From Heathrow Airport:
- Underground: Take the Elizabeth Line (Purple) from Heathrow Airport from Terminals 2 & 3 to Liverpool Street Station. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from there.
From Gatwick Airport:
- Underground: take a Thameslink train to London Bridge Station, then transfer to the Northern Line (Black) to Old Street Station. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from there.
From London City Airport:
- Underground: Take the DLR to Bank Station, then transfer to the Central Line (Red) to Liverpool Street Station. The hotel is a 8-minute walk from there.
From Luton Airport:
- Underground: Take the Thameslink train to King's Cross Station, then transfer to the Victoria Line (Light Blue) southbound to Oxford Circus Station and change to the Central Line (Red) eastbound to Liverpool Street Station. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from there.
From Stansted Airport:
Underground: Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station, then walk to the hotel (10-minute walk).
For all options, Liverpool Street Station is the main connection point for the Underground, and the hotel is just a short walk from there. Alternatively, taxis or ride-hailing services (like Uber and Lyft) are available from all airports directly to the hotel.
Do you have on-site parking?
Unfortunately, the hotel does not have on-site car parking or valet services. However, the nearest parking garage is Broadgate Car Park, located at Bishopsgate, London EC2A 2EW, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
What is the nearest tube/overground station to the hotel?
UNDERGROUND:
Liverpool Street 0.3 miles (8-minute walk to the hotel)
Old Street 0.4 miles (10-minute walk to the hotel)
OVERGROUND:
Shoreditch High Street Station 0.2 miles (5-minute walk to the hotel)

Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily at Marilin’s on the Roof from 7am to 10.30am. You'll find it on level 7. Don't want to leave the comfort of your bed? No worries—room service is ready to bring breakfast to you from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Do you have room service? If so, what are the hours?
Yes, we offer room service. Breakfast is available from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and our full menu is available from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Please note that a tray charge of £4.50 and a 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill.
PETS
Are you a pet friendly hotel? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
We certainly are! Your furry friend will receive a warm welcome that will have their tail wagging in no time! Expect pet-friendly amenities as cosy as your own.
We welcome up to two pets per room. There are no breed or size restrictions as long as your little companion can fit in the lift. We kindly ask that they are kept on a lead in public areas and are on their best behaviour. Extra treats are available at the front desk if required.
Can pets dine in the food and beverage outlets?
Due to health and safety concerns around our open kitchen element, pets are only allowed in Commons Club.
Where are the nearest parks?
Mark Street Gardens (EC2A 4DS), Just a short stroll away, perfect for a quick pit stop.
Haggerston Park (E2 8NN), A 15-minute walk, featuring a dedicated dog park where your pup can roam free and make some new friends.
