After the overwhelming success of our 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' Afternoon Tea in collaboration with Edinburgh Zoo, we're excited to bring the series back!
This Christmas Holidays, join us for a delightful adventure inspired by Julia Donaldson’s enchanting tale, Jonty Gentoo – The Adventures of a Penguin, in collaboration with Edinburgh Zoo.
Held in our magnificent Greyfriars Hall on the Cowgate, this event pairs the charm of our much loved Afternoon Tea with playful twists for younger guests, creating a truly one-of-a-kind Winter experience for families and visitors to Edinburgh.
Adults can indulge in a stylish menu featuring delicious pastries, savoury delights, and perfectly brewed teas, while little ones enjoy whimsical treats like chocolate penguin, bear cookies and classic scones.
Adding to the magic, guests can enjoy a live stream from Edinburgh Zoo’s Penguin Rock - Europe's largest outdoor penguin pool - immersing themselves in the world of these charming creatures, as they learn all about the world of penguins.
Hosted by an Edinburgh Zookeeper, there will be penguin-themed games, fun learning activities, and even the chance to practice your penguin waddle, this unique event promises fun for all ages.
